2. Coarse Flecked – This is a variety of Irish linen which is one of the oldest suit fabrics around. Once popular among western world, this fabric still looks stunning and you can use this fabric to stitch both casual and formal suits.
3. Irish Basket Weave – Basket Weave pattern is the same Irish fabric but this is lightweight and features a shinier surface. This material can be used to stitch stunning blazers that can be a great party wear.
4. Silk Matka – Even though these are pure silk material, this features linen lining and the fabric is quite visible and brings a high contrast pattern to silk. There is no doubt that this can serve as a perfect party wear. Silk Matka usually comes in vivid colors which leave you with several options.
This fabric enjoyed quite large popularity in 1900s and made its way for shinier and glossy fabrics. However, these days, there are several varieties of linen and each of them looks quite different from another. Undoubtedly, your closet should include at least one linen suit.
